    The CDMS Claims Processing Department (CPD) is responsible for generating, transmitting, controlling, and managing all claims for service provided by the Consumer Direct Care Network.  The CPD is organized into three teams:  Authorizations, Data Entry, and Billing. CPD staff use a variety of systems, tools and methods to support business processes. 


    The EDI Analyst will support CPD through providing assistance to all Billing personnel with Claims processing needs. Objectives include reviewing and facilitating claims reprocessing requests for validity, documenting and tracking all EDI claims, reviewing and assessing data to improve CPD procedures and efficiency.

    • Manage the 1EDIHelpDesk Inbox within CPD deadlines
    • Utilizing key CDMS platforms, including 1EDI, Solomon, Docuware, UTEX, and Excel to facilitate the claims creation process
    • Communicating with Analysts, Team Leads and Managers regarding problems and adjustments to current process
    • Working with payers to ensure proper EDI setup for sending/receiving ANSI files using 1EDI
    • Advising CPD leadership on best practices methods to promote efficiency for both initial and re-billing scenarios
    • Documenting EDI procedures for development and improvement




    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational/project management skills
    • Functional knowledge of key CDMS platforms mentioned above
    • Ability to work independently
    • Data structure and file processing knowledge, specific to ANSI 835/837 files
