    Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a dynamic and engaging Controller to join our team located at our Missoula, MT headquarters. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the accounting department which includes several accountants, accounts payable functions, and daily cash management. This position maintains responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data for more than 18 operating companies
    • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting
    • Perform variance analysis of financial reports
    • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
    • Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
    • Work with external auditors
    • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
    • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
    • Maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
    • Maintain financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
    • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws




    • Bachelor Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Master’s preferred
    • Five or more years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • CPA license is preferred
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints
    • Possess effective and persuasive presentation skills on controversial or complex topics to top management
    • Must employ the utmost discretion in all presentations/correspondence and communication
