POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Consumer Direct Management Solutions is seeking a self-starting; people oriented Training Specialist to join our operations team located in Missoula, MT.  The Training Specialist will be tasked with training Consumer Direct employees on companywide programs. These programs range from known software such as Microsoft applications to internal company software such as Docuware and CRM and everything in between. As the company trainer, you will be engaging 1-on-1 training sessions to groups as large as 100 people at times. The Training Specialist must be comfortable with instructing people with different learning styles and present in different forms of communication from online to in person presentations. This position will require the individual to have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational/project management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work with Instructional Designer to develop, maintain and evolve user training materials to facilitate skills development
  • Coordinate and conduct trainings for administrative staff. Must be comfortable with public speaking in front of large groups
  • Utilize multiple training methods to present complex information to a variety of learning styles  
  • Monitor and assess staff learning and comprehension
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards
  • Assist in analyzing current business processes to improve utilization of IT solutions
  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in employee development
  • Continuously enhance instructional delivery and presentation skills
  • Periodically participate in special projects such as assisting with large enrollments and transitions
  • Up to 25% travel

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required – Education background preferred
  • Tech-savvy – proficient with MS Office, Skype, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • 2 years’ experience working in a training type capacity
