New Mexico Consumer Direct is seeking a people-oriented Consultant/Support Broker to work in a dynamic yet fun and collaborative environment located in our Albuquerque, NM office. In this important role you will assist our clients with developing support plans through New Mexico’s self-directed programs for authorized services and support the ongoing activities of those plans. Successful candidates will emphasize the coordination of care for individuals with disabilities and promote prompt, respectful and professional service possible to our clients.

  • Provide a positive, professional, empathetic and client-focused manner
  • Employ multi-tasking skills effectively
  • Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to network and build collaborative relationships
  • Speak effectively with clients and employees
  • Write routine reports/correspondence
  • Work as a team player- maintaining the ability to work in teams, be open and receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Maintain a high attention to detail





  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
  • 6 years’ experience serving individuals with disabilities OR combination of education and experience
  • Must possess computer proficiency specifically with Outlook and Excel
  • Must maintain reliable transportation and valid insurance for some in-state travel
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
