    Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a people-oriented Physical Therapist to work in a dynamic and team-focused environment located in Missoula, MT. In this important role, you essentially help our members reduce pain and improve or restore their mobility. You will employ treatment techniques to increase movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. As delegated by the member’s physician, you will assess, plan and follow-up on treatment programs for patients relevant to physical dysfunction and implement according to the plan of care.

    • Assess patient condition, establishes goals, treatments and care plan in conjunction with the physician and patient/family
    • Ensure that appropriate treatment is performed in interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians about impact of physical therapy factors on the patient's health status
    • Document findings, treatments and other patient information in a timely manner in the electronic medical record
    • Educate patient/family on appropriate care and use of various therapies/exercises
    • Supervise treatment plans delegated to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and nurses’ aides
    • Maintain a positive, professional, empathetic and customer-focused manner
    • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Be a team player- ability to work in teams, are open and receptive to coaching and feedback
    • Maintain a high attention to detail
    • Serve as information/education resource for patients, families and staff
    • Provide on-going education to the Physical Therapy staff as needed
    • Maintain patient confidentiality
    • Must be knowledgeable in physical therapy principles, standards and applications




    • Current State of Montana Physical Therapy license
    • Experience in home health preferred, but not necessary (willing to train the right candidate)
    • 1 year Physical Therapy experience
    • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
